African hunters probably know that Sable Antelope is prohibitively expensive to hunt in South Africa. The average trophy fee for Sable in SA is around $7,500 compared to about $3,000 in other African countries such as Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
The advantage of hunting in SA as opposed to other African countries is SA's excellent infrastructure and the many other attractions that it has to offer - especially to non-hunting companions.
I am in a position to offer Sable in South Africa at a trophy fee of $5,500 for a limited time only - which compares very well to Sable hunts elsewhere in Africa.
By means of comparison:
Sable Hunt - Mozambique:
Air Charter - SA to Mozambique = $5,000.00
Daily Rates - $850 X 7 days = $5,950.00
License / Community fees = $400.00
Trophy Fee = $3,000.00
Firearm Import License = $200.00
Hunting Card = $150.00
Trophy Handling = $350.00
Total = $15,050
Sable Hunt - RSA:
Air Charter - N/A
Daily Rates - $400 X 7 days = $2,800.00
License / Community fees = N/A
Firearm Import License = N/A
Hunting Card = N/A
