Roger Ragland

It's officeial. Roger Ragland is comming to hunt with me and my wife on one of our Missouri leases this oct. He has been a hero of mine sence the early 80s.
My wife just emailed him and we got to talk some at the ATA show. He called me yesterday and firmed up the dates. Still hard to belive that this is happening.

Re: Roger Ragland

I have watched his videos for 20 years and I can't even think of a person that I really look up to like I do Roger. He said he would be glad to promote my leases,
but I just want him to come hunting with us. I will get to be on a number of videos this season, but look forward to this more than any other.
He and his son will be filming for his show. I can't wait.
No movie star here. Just a whitetail junkie that got lucky.

Satchmo, what hunting show do you film for? Is it your show?

I don't do any filming and I am not on anything other than Ramcat commercials right now. I am going to be on 2 mossy oak(I don't know which shows from mossy oak yet). Xtreem hunting on the sportsmans chanel, Backwoods outdoors, and Southern outdoors. There will likely be a few more, but I am overwhelmed at the opportunitys that I have now.
Sence working for PSE, I have alot more people contacting me about doing a spot or sponsering someones show as a PSE advisor/rep. The biggest problem to me is that everybody with a camera and some editing experince is trying to put out a hunting video. It's hard for me to even understand that do it yourself hunting shows are like garage bands. Only a few get lucky and get picked up by a few good sponcers.
I have busted my tail for a long time to get to where I am now, and I still have alot to learn. I'll keep yall posted about when I'll be on.

Re: Roger Ragland

Don't you need an extra camera man for this hunt? Or someone to help put up stands? Maybe help clean the deer? I'm jealous. Good luck and good hunting. Should be a great time afield.
