Is the bow properly tuned? Do you know where on the rest the vanes are hitting? If I'm thinking of the right rest, it has a bar on the top of the rest. If it is hitting that just remove it and see what happens.
I just read some reviews on this rest. The people that were complaining all complained the vanes hit on bows that were too fast, mostly over 280fps. Couple said they moved the rest to slower bows and worked flawlessly. Another said he lowered weight and it worked perfectly.
Thanks for the responses! Hammer1 I did not mean to post in moose section if you can move this that would be great.
Redrider, the arrow is not hitting the retaining bar it is hitting the right side of the drop away mechanism. Does anybody know if there is a faster drop away on the market? Thanks again for the responses!

I have made two of these and they are easy to build.
An empty 55 gallon drum, some 2x4's, some PVC tubing and fittings, a little bit of hardware and some paint - and you are ready to go.
I designed it so you can stand on the lower rung and fill it - the top is about 6.5 feet above the ground.
It holds about 375...
