That could be a interesting powedr. Hornady doesn't list a load for my .340 Weatherby but comparing load data with a .338 Lapul or the .340-378 Weatherby they are only getting around 20 more fps than I am already getting with RL22.
There is quite a bit of powder up in this neck of the woods. I see that some of you guys are from Colorado. I make a run down that way every now and then and if you guys are really hurting for powder let me know and maybe we can work something out. One shop I was in 2 days ago had 10# of retumbo.....
That is sure nice of you! I am good for a while I hope! Got a 8 lbs jug now. If I can't find something I will let you know. I need to try and get up there and do some scouting for Antelope before OCT. Maybe even a Sage grouse hunt. Season is pretty short and they will be protected soon I think. I read some where that 57% or 54% of all the Sage Grouse in the U.S. reside in Wyo!!!
When calling coyotes, more often than not they will circle on a target they are
coming into and approach from the downwind side. Presumably they do this in
order to align what they smell, with what they are hearing.
This means that you should always have your downwind side camouflaged and have
an open shooting lane. If the area is heavily covered the coyote could come in
take a look and be gone, with you none the wiser.
