Replacement cable

Made a big mistake and dry fired my crossbow - I know better!!! The molded end on the cable snapped and I'm trying to find a replacement since I really love this equipment. Anyone know where to look??
The following is the information:

PSE

PRECISION SHOOTING EQUIPMENT

STARFIRE CROSSBOW

150 LB

524 CABLE

37524X REPLACEMENT CABLE

BRAIDED CABLE WITH SOLDERED ENDS

I haven't had any luck finding this so any suggestion would be great.

From what I understand they haven't made the Starfire crossbow since 1989 so finding a factory string is going to be iffy. So you may have to go the custom route if you can not find one. I would give these guys a call and see what they can do for you. http://www.stonemountainbowstrings.com/

Critter is correct. You will have very little if any luck finding a replacement cable unless you can find one from a simular setup which I doubt. You will most likely have to go the custom route and have one fabricated. There are several that do that. Stone mountain is one of the more reputable ones but they for damn sure arent on the cheap side either. But on the good side they do guarentee their products if memory serves me correctly. I havnt used anyone in several years since I make my own strings. Id help you out with one but I dont think I could fabricate the strength you would need from string material. One other place id try for a replacement cable would be http://www.lancasterarchery.com
If they dont have it or can get it then it cant be gotten and will have to be made. Hope this helps
