I am considering the purchase of a Remington Model 750 semi-auto rifle. Anyone have any experience with this rifle? Doing some research on other forums, there was a lot of posters that had problems with feeding. Also how accurate are they?
The 750's detachable magazine remains the same and is interchangeable with earlier Model 7400 versions. As such, it is unique in that the bolt hold-open feature is built into it. Holding the bolt open after the last shot is the magazine follower, which juts up into the bolt raceway to interfere with the bolt closing(end quote)
I found the above in a review I read, so wondering how were the 7400 s for similar problems, if any.
I'm a Bolt Action shooter so can't help with experience
Hunting is not usually a pursuit where instant gratification abounds. It takes a lot of time, practice, resources and patience to be a successful hunter. So when someone decides that an area they hunted only once without taking an animal is worthless and devoid of game, I don't quite understand it. These people usually jump from game management unit to game management unit; trying a new one every year.
Now don't get me wrong, there are people that just enjoy scouting and hunting...
