I am wanting to purchase a Remington 7600 or 7400 in synthetic or wood. But.................. with the monte carlo stock my face/eyes can't line up to use the open sights that I want to use. My question is: If I buy the Ram Line replacement stock that isn't monte carlo will this problem be fixed? Or is there another way to to fix a wood stock or do anyhting different to the gun to help with my problem? I will be wanting to put peep sights on the gun.....probably williams. I don't know what to do! i don't want a scope on the gun!

It should help the problem if not fix it because it will line you up slightly lower. A Rem shotgun should be a good test to see if it aim/fits like you want it to.

Hmmm.... I guess I don't understand what the problem is. Too high, presumably... If so get a straight stock, then use a comb raising kit if it is too low.
