My nephew had a guy give him this .22. He doesn't want it and wants $20 for it.
I took it out the other day and the scope is crappy, it's a bit rusty on the outside, and it jams fairly often. Figure with a cleaning and maybe a different scope it could be a decent gun for plinking.
Does anyone have any experience with the Viper?
Clips are hard to find. Does anyone know a place took buy a couple?

Yup sounds like $20 worth of gun. ;-)
I don't think there is much hope for it, the Vipers are not nice guns. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any clips being made for them either by anyone.
Fortunately Remington stepped it up a bit after the viper and produced the 597 which is a decent inexpensive gun. Another one to try would be a mossberg plinkster 702.
