Whoa, can you narrow it down a little, Region G takes in quite a bit of real estate.
Cokeville(Smiths Fork/ Hobble creek)
Kemmerer (Hams Fork, La Barge Creek, Commisary Ridge)
Afton (Salt River,Salt Range)
Alpine(Greys River,Wyoming Range)
Next, are you foot soldiering out of a tent, packing in with stock, or moteling it
Thanks for that reply,so far my search has pointed to the salt river, salt range.I am unable to make the hunt this year, but instead helping my freind and son with some of the research. They will mostly be on foot and looking for over night walk in trips. They will be in the area for 2 weeks.
Try to put your tree stand in a tree with plenty of background cover, keep the prevailing winds for that time of the year to your face, and take care of those pesky squeaks and creaks your stand may have developed while sitting in the shed. A good treestand lube can be made by heating petroleum jelly until it reaches a liquid form. Some hunters have reported success by including a cover scent in this mixture before applying it to their stands.
