Red Mountain Open Space

Anyone here have experience or know anyone who has drawn this area?  Just curious how the hunt was.

I've hiked there a bunch and haven't seen a single elk.

know a couple folks

Haven't seen anyone take a nice bull off of there, but have seen some nice bucks.  Excpect CWD on most of the older ones though.  It's very prevalent in the area.

Yup, just deer and elk.  There are quite a few antelope up that way though especially when you get almost the the WYO border on the rim trail? I think.

I am open to hunting does, as

I am open to hunting does, as I do just about every year, considering that I love antelope meat, and a buck tag is tough to draw in Colorado w/out a ton of pref. points.
