About 8:30 this morning a doe went by along the edge of a bean field. A half-hour later I saw a buck on her trail. He was about 50 yards away through brush and timber.
I used my doe bleat call and then lightly rattled my horns. He made a B-Line for me. I didn't know how big he was so I drew my bow and was ready when he presented himself.
The buck stopped about 10 yards from my stand and had a look on his face like, "ok, where is everyone?" Fortunately for the buck, he was only a small six-pointer otherwise, I'd be telling you about the buck I got today.
Only saw a forkie after that, but it was cool rattlin' in a buck.

,) He had made it to 60 yds. and slowly turned around and watched what was happening from a distance. Was a great show for about 45 minutes.
