You got that right Smitty,very dry every where. SW mtns bone dry and smokey. Got rained on in the Sangres and dusting of snow high Sunday. Lots of water there,but not near me...except in my stock tank!

Hunting over a water hole can infact be the absolute best way to bag an archery antelope. But be careful you don't dance too much and get a bunch of rain just before your hunt or there will be water everywhere and you will be no better off than you are now as they will be able to get a drink where ever they want to. If you could manage to find a water source no one else knows about you would be really set with the current weather.

Sorry to hear that.  It's weird, cause here in California, they have officially declared our drought over.  We have gotten so much rain this year.

I think the snowpack in the mountains was 165% of normal, and all of our reservoirs are full.

If you can find a waterhole, it should be fun sitting on it.  Good luck!

Yeah the area i am going to go on my antelope hunt has less then 1/2 inch since Nov.  plus it is 110 today do there. 

Down here in unit 31 southeastern part of the state and its been october since we got any rain to call home about. When you look over the pasture it looks like winter if you over look the mesquite.

Could really use that rain.  I live here in Los Alamos and it is burning all round town.  61000 acres so far.   all this in about 3 days..  rain please!!!
