Well this was my first

Well this was my first weekend N stand...Sat morn'n had turkey's fly down Bhind me...sat N stand from daylite till 1pm...Nut'n...nut'n move'd....It was BeuTful morn'n,rain'd that nite,lite drizzle that morn'n, overcast,no sun...thought 4 sure they wood B up an move'n....Sunday,same thing,turkey's...3 koon's,came to bottom of my ladder stand...That was it...Did a lil scout'n around on walk back to truck,nothing move'd...No fresh track's anywhere...Acorn's fall'n like crazy,thought i was gona hav'ta git my hard hat...O...O...and this was the first time i used one of them thermacell's,...and guess what.......They work!.....

i've hunted a lot but haven't

i've hunted a lot but haven't been able to get a shot at a deer ive seen a couple little bucks and a lot of does.  I usually see 1 deer every night but they wont give me a shot i'm gonna hunt this weekend with some dnr guys at some really good land so hopefully this weekend.

You don't need any encouragement. You're a seasoned hunter. Bugs is trying for his first bow kill. He needs some positive encouragement. For me at least, it seemed as though that first bow kill would take forever to accomplish. Good luck, Bugs. Stick a wall hanger! Thumbs up

ThankX Bug's...Good Luck 2 U 2....BackPacker i'm season'd all rite,but i'm still werk'n on my first bow kill...did it back in my younger day's,stop'd for several year's,been back at it the last five season's...last season was first time i got to draw back on a doe,gut shot her an lost her...just my luck...the next weekend i went to draw back on another and the dadburn release release'd B4 i got a full draw...just my luck....

Good luck to you all, I have to wait till Mid NOV now to hunt, I'm already jonesing. Maybe i can get out soon and do some bear hunting. I plan on doing some more scouting and getting my cam back out to the area I plan on hunting. So far in my area I've seen a lot of action this year so hopefully the rifle hunters dont push the deer out of the area befor i get my chance at them.
