Questions about FL?

I'm going to FL on a hog hunt at my uncle's private hunting lease. (Woo-Hoo!)
My question is what kind of license do I need to be able to harvest a deer also. The way I understand it, a license is not needed to hunt the hogs on private land, but what is needed to hunt deer also? Also I'm from IL so I'm a non-resident. I downloaded the Florida Hunting Regs from MyFWC.com, and am a little unclear as to the requirements. If I'm reading it right then all that is needed is a non-resident hunting license. Does this have to be a "annual" license or can it be the 10-day license? Thanks for any and all help.

All that you need is the 10 day license.
If you were born AFTER 1975 you'll need proof of completion of an "approved" Hunters Safety Course to get the 10 day license.

Good Luck!!

JTapia,

Thanks for the info, and especially thanks for the reminder to find my Hunter Safety Education card. I didn't have that on my gear list, and would have been up a creek without it. Thanks again.
