Pronghorn down... Taxidermy bill climbing!

For a poor, recent college graduate... my taxidermy bill is getting out of hand! Due to the time I spent scouting for my Mtn. Goat hunt, I wasn't able to scout my pronghorn unit as much as I wanted but the 3 trips I did get in this summer definitely paid off.

I got to watch my buck chase smaller bucks away from his does and even got to see him breed two of his ladies. One things for sure, he was a stinky rutted up speed goat!

Next up is my WY doe pronghorn hunt (thankfully no chance raising my taxidermy bill!) followed by my mulie hunt during 2nd season.

That is a great looking

That is a great looking buck.  Get you a real nice doe in there in Wyoming and have it mounted also.  I ahve seen some really nice displays with both.  Plus you don't wanna let your bank account get soft on ya...keep it trained.  Congrats again.

That's a great looking buck

That's a great looking buck Hawkeye!  You are surely putting together one heck of a season!

Hope you continue your good luck in the wyoming hunt, and your mule deer hunt.  What zone are you hunting for second season?  I thought I recall you getting some muzzleloading bucks up there, yes?

Anyway, congrats on a fine antelope!!!

Hawkeye, that is not a bad

Hawkeye, that is not a bad thing on the taxidermy. Looks like you have a thing for the goats, at least this year. That is a fine looking buck and congratulations on taking him. Hope the rest of your season is just as successful. Bet your pack out was allot easier with this one!

Now you'll need a bigger place

At least the taxidermy bill is a one time cost.  The larger house you're going to have to buy/rent to hang all of the heads will cost you each month!  I wish I had the same trouble with my taxidermy bill....

Nice buck, something to be proud of for sure.

Wow Hawkeye your just lining

Wow Hawkeye your just lining them up and knocking them down this season. Thats a nice looking lope. Congrats on all your sucess this year. A taxidermy bill isnt all that bad of a bill to have , I wouldnt mind having one of those. but i guess that would mean i would have to shoot something. hopefully I'll make it happen in NOV. Good luck on your WY hunt and also your mule deer hunt. Again Congrats and good luck.

Out of all the problems you

Out of all the problems you can have hunting, having more work for and figuring out how to pay your taxidermist is one of the best problems to have.   Yes  Congrats on the very nice buck!  You have quite the year going, that is for sure.  Do you have any saved for your monster deer you are going to get yet this year?  Again, congrats and good luck on your remaining hunts.

Very nice antelope !!!

hawkeye,

Congrats on a super speed goat ! Thumbs up You are the "KILLIN" machaine this year ! I hope you add one more muley to your taxidermy bill. Definately not a bad problem to have, too many trophies at the taxidermist, that is.
