From reading the article it doesnt seem like that bad of a thing. The inmate had good behavior and had to pay for the TV set. It's no different than a radio or a book. As long as the tax payers dont have to shell out the money. Granted our tax money might pay his prision salary. But I can think of alot worse things prisoners could be doing other than watching TV.

I can think a lot worse things these criminal should be doing, other than, sitting around and enjoying their flat screen tv's!

Krahmer's $300.00 dollars should be going toward his room and board instead of lifes luxuries which some of us blue collar folks work for but never experience because of taxes, house payments, and grocery bills.

If the prisoners get to keep their tv's, basic cable should be axed, and as extra punishement - the warden should pipe in, 24 hours/7 days a week, non-stop Teletubbies....
