Pre Season Scouting

My father and I went out scouting a couple of new areas on Sunday for the deer season next year. We found some really good sign and hope to be back there next season. Lots of rubs, scrapes, tracks, paths and feces. Great day to be out and about and a great cure for my hangover this morning. We saw 6 deer on our journeys but were not able to get any pics. Here are two pics of what we found today. The first pic is of me standing next to a real nice rub. The second pic may draw some questions but I am actually laying next to a huge scrape. I am 6'2'' and with my outstreched arms I am a little over eight feet. The sracpe is in front of me, kind of hard to see due to the leaves but if you look hard enough you can see the brown ground. Thanks for the great day dad and hopefully we can work out the exact where abouts another time.
