Potential World Record Whitetail

I'm glad to hear that the Hansen buck wasn't sold. I couldn't believe it myself, but the store clerk swore it was the original. No doubt that Milo's is monster, I'm just predicting that it wlll be beaten sooner rather than later.

I don't know if it will be beaten that easily. Remember the Hanson buck was shot way back in November 1993 and nothing has come even remotely close since. There have been some that have gross scored pretty high since then but nothing that even comes close for a net typical score. The Jordan buck was the world record for a long time and it scored 206 1/8, a full 7 1/2 inches less than the Hanson buck, and there hasn't even been a buck that has beat that score yet. I am sure somebody will shoot a buck that scores between the Hanson buck and the Jordan buck before we ever see a monster that topples the World Record from SK.

Well it's looking like that 189 7/8 typical has been crushed. My dad had the tape on a deer awhile back and it green grossed 208 typical and is looking like it's gonna be the new Ont. record taken with a shotgun but not yet official. Also the Ont. muzzle loader record was broke this past season green grossing 204.

Funny story about Milo Hansen, one of our NB bear outfitters deer hunts with Milo every year in the exact same area where Milo killed his WR deer and our NB bear outfitter has never killed any kind of a big deer there yet Yes
