Swan River, Manitoba.

Just kidding. I have no idea. I'll try to find out, though.

Try updating your windows media player to see if the video will come up. It makes for an interesting show. But the shooter shoots three shots at a nice buck as it looks at him. Then it runs off unhurt. Yes

The hunter shot three times and missed all three shots. Hard to tell distance, as the camera appeared to be "zoomed" to some extent, but likely at 100 yards or less. All three shots hit left by about a foot or so. My guess is, the scope was off (if a scope was used). Anyone can miss though, especially if under pressure. I'd certainly prefer a clean miss, or even THREE, than to have a crippling loss, where the animal wasn't recovered. -Jim

Would be very interesting to know where this guy/gal was actually aiming, could it have been a miserable attempt at a lung shot??

I'm not sure where he was aiming but he is a bad shot no matter where it was. Notice how far the second shot hit left as compared to the first and third. I don't think the gun is being that inconsistent unless the scope/base/rings are loose. It looks like buck fever at its finest... probably looking at antlers through the scope instead of killzone.

I had that buck fever once, I actually thought I was aiming at the animals throat for a head-on shot. It turned out my cross hairs were aiming right between the eyes (no lie), when I squeezed the round off, he dropped like a brick, but it wasn't until my brother, and I walked up to him that we noticed were i hit the animal. I really do not suggest this shot, it tends to be really messy Brick Wall,) Oops! .

OK gang............

I found this forum and am pleased to be here to CLEAR things up!

The guy who missed the buck THREE times..........yes THREE.........

Why? HIs scope was not off, he just had a bad case of BUCK FEVER!

DOODAA , AKA Jimmy Rymes, is a very ethical hunter. He has spent many of the past 10 years hunting ducks. He just got back into deer hunting this past year.

HIs equipment was checked............his scope was not off.........he just saw deer with a good rack in the scope...three times........and not the cross hairs............!

He has killed many deer years ago, he has never had a buck that good in front him. It caught him by surprise........

After the misses............he went to the shooting area at their deer lease......and shot at a vienna sausage can at 65 yards and centered it.

The place where the buck was standing IS NOT A PUBLIC ROAD........it is a power line on his lease. There was nobody on the powerline the day he shot.

The box stand you see in the background has been eliminated from use on their lease.

The deer was about 165 yards away.

Why did he put the clip up?

Well think about it.......if he had dropped it in one shot...........the only thing ANYONE would have ever said is...........thats an ok deer........yeeeah just another medium sized buck killed..........

Right now, that video clip is the most looked at hunting video clip in the world!

And guess what, you all can see the WHOLE story on our soon to be released hunting DVD we will release in September!

Is Jimmy a safe hunter? You bet, I have hunted with him numerous times.....he films me a whole lot also!

How do I know him? He is my partner, editor, chief videographer, for Team Hammerdog Outdoors.

Would I trust him in the woods? You bet as I have numerous times!

Have any of you ever missed a deer? I bet you have............I have a time or two!

Have I missed one three times? Yep but I was young and it was running!

Jimmy is having a blast with this video clip! He takes the ribbing with a phenominal sense of humor!

And the VH1 Web Junk 20 show..........he and I laughed our behinds off! However, he did not shoot more than three times!

You want to see the clip again? go to http://www.teamhammerdog.com

It will be released oh our video which will have numerous bow and gun deer kills, some caribou, and a moose this fall. About 2.5 hours worth of hunting by everyday hunters having some fun and filming!

On our website, you will find a montage of kills in our Seak peek video clip, here is the link.......

http://www.southernoutdoorproducts.com/hammerdog/video/clip2.htm

Think about, anyone could burn that footage........how many in the hunting world have the character to share their miss fortune with others?

by the way............he has learned to quit looking at the rack, and focusing on the vitsals area, once he has determined a buck to be a shooter!
