I get off work in 7 1/2 hours so my 4TH will be starting at 0730. Going for a mountain bike ride in the morning, followed by a bbq with the family in the evening and watching fireworks! Sounds like you also have a nice 4TH planned with the family. Hope it's a good one
Being retired I have found that the best thing to do on a weekend even a holiday weekend is to just relax. Then as the week rolls around it is time to get out. Since most people work they only have the weekend to play and that is when the lakes and rivers and hillsides are crowded. Come Tuesday they will be nice and quite again and I can see if I can bust some snow drifts with my wheeler and go scouting.
Good call with the take it easy on the weekend and go play with everyone is back at work. I'm able to do that at my job as well since we bid for our shifts. I take the thur, fri, sat so I can head out when everyone is coming back in from their weekend. I'm thinking a little cabelas trip here if they are open today! Have a good 4TH

Whether you’re in a tree or on the ground you can use this method at any time. Marking the distance before a hunt from your stand is a helpful way to determine the distance.
