Plan B

Well it looks like I am hoping Montana doesn't sell all of their combo tags. My hunting buddy flaked on the colorado Ml hunt so it's a second PP there. I feel good about my odds of picking up a tag on the 5 of may, there have been tags leftover for a few years now. If there are no tags left in Montana plan c will be over the counter tag in Colorado probably south central part of the state. Can't wait to hear them talk.

If things stay the same as it

If things stay the same as it has been lately, you should be able to pick up the MT leftovers. Too bad your buddy crapped out on the other hunt you had planned. Good luck!

Nick - you should be able to

Nick - you should be able to pick up an elk tag in Montana. Tags were still available throughout the season last two years. Are you archery or rifle hunting? I'm mainly planning to rifle elk hunt region 3 and some east of Missoula if I draw a cow tag.

Good luck with plan b!
It's hard finding a hunting partner you want to share a camp with sometimes. Hang in there and keep plugging away at it and it'll come together for you.

I will be bowhunting probably around the 10-20 of September bugeling elk are the most awesome thing next to the roar of a lion, and I'm about 49,000 dollars short for that one he he.

Hang in there...

Hang in there. I've got the same issue.
I hunt with my son, but it's nice to have another adult in the mix. Good die-hard hunters are hard to come by.

Good luck this season Nick.

Montana it is

Just got done warming up the credit card. I will be hunting elk this september in Montana! It is a high priced tag but if it were cheaper I wouldn't have gotten it so I am happy.
