Four lions have been found dead in the Jackson area and WYG&F say it's the bubonic plague, will post the article from the Casper trib when I can find again, till then watch them fleas

bubonic plague, caused by yersinia pestis, is endemic to prairie dogs and ground squirrels in the west. I heard of a case of two people getting it from a sick bobcat that they skinned. most people catch it from ground squirrels, those cute little things. Think I assume that canines could also catch it but do not know for sure. You would need to ask a veterinarian.
