Vent

Me thinks this site needs a dose of Epi and maybe a ventilator.

Any RT's around? That's Respiratory Therapist for you non-medspeak folks. It seems to me that Instagram and Twitter, not to mention Facebook, have taken a lot of the starch out of forums. I see this on many forums but not to the level I've noticed here of late.

I really thought things would pick up come hunting season but it hasn't. I've tried to answer relevant questions, provide some jocularity, and even start a thread or two but to no avail. This saddens me as I'd like to see the forum continue as I managed to make a couple of friends through here and learn a bunch.

This forum has been moved to

This forum has been moved to the care center, at times it shows a little bit of life but not enough to get up and get moving.  I have even noticed that the vast majority of the moderators don't even post anymore and that the majority of the post on it are from the same 10 or so members that keep trying to give it a push.

I am on a half dozen forums from hunting sites to automovie sites and this on is in the worse condition.  I still believe that the contest gave this forum a great big high, about like someone on herone and now it has come down off of its high and is in the bottom of the dregs of the forum world.

And you are the exception Thumbs up

I haven't noticed any of the others in the last month.   That and I know of a couple of stroies that haven't been OK'ed and posted since I did mine in July of 2012, then there are the blog entries, and tip and hints that no one in athority are watching.

You may want to get all the personal contact information that you can for hunts that you may have planned in the future unless you have another forum that you can get it forum from the members that are on here now.

This place is dying a very slow death. Help!

Funny

I forgot about this site until today and thought I'd see if it was still active. What is funny is this topic is still alive. This used to be a great site.

i I think what made me think about it was it was this time of year that I won a rifle from the contest. Never did shoot it. Sold it right away and used the money to buy a bicycle. Still have and use the bike.

Gift

Do they give you a gift each year for being a moderator?  They used to give us a nice one when I was a moderator. Just wondering if the new guys kept that up.

I don't believe that Outdoor

I don't believe that Outdoor Hub is doing anything the way that it was done.  Just take a look at the stories and tips section.  I know of a couple of stories that have been submitted with no responce.

nope

Nope no gifts!! And you can't talk to them like you could Nadja.

I rarely have any moderation but then again I don't get on much anymore, besides I thought a good moderator was rarely heard from LOL

Well, I have been cheking in

Well, I have been cheking in from time to time to see what's going on, and it sure doesn't look good, does it?

I saw the comments by a Moderator conerning the loss of all the old pictures in the Gallery and that they have been busy - but I also see that the last Photos and Stories that has been posted was over 1 1/2 years ago! That puts a new definition on the word, "busy".

I made the trip to Wyoming in 2011 that I had talked about in previous posts, and again in 2013. I have some pictures and stories that I was going to submit, but it appears as if it would be a waste of time and effort. Perhaps I'll put a couple in the Mule Deer forum or the Roky Mountain Forum just so you die hards can have a look.

If anyone from the administration is listening, it sure would be nice to have this site up and running again.
