This place is DEAD!

this site has been dead lately noone ever posts anymore... how about another contest or something in the works to drum up some more traffic. this used to be my favorite forum to visit but with the lack of posts and people dropping by it's got me wandering? Confused

I was thinking the same thing

I was thinking the same thing the other day, nothing like a contest to drum up nonsense questions and answers not to mention getting a lot of new members that never post again.

I personally believe that is should start to pick up in the next month since hunting seasons are starting here in the west with the bow hunts and then the early rifle hunts in September. At least I can hope.

I am still waiting for a couple of answers about the reply box. It seams that I am missing the upper tool bar just above the box and when it is missing the reply to box is a lot smaller than it is when I do get the tool bar and it only happens every now and then.

There's a few of us that have

There's a few of us that have stuck around, and are on here every day.  Problem is, until I actually get into the field, it's more of just chit chat.  Got my big hunting/fishing/golfing weekend in less than 3 weeks though.  Dove and deer start on the 1st for me, then I'll start actually talking about hunting....lol

Lol yeah I hear what you guys

Lol yeah I hear what you guys are sayin'...

Dove starts here on the first as well as early goose season... archery deer is the 8th but I doubt I will hunt archery this year. Since moving I left most of my hunting stuff in storage down in florida. Havn't had the money to drive back down there and get everyhting out.

Looking forward to blackpowder though which starts the end of sep. Whistling

I'm always here but only post

I'm always here but only post if I have something to say or can give a valid answer. During the contest I talked a lot more but there was always something to comment on..

But I was here before them and will always be here with the loyal few as things unfold for us.

I was speaking more of a contest like the archery contest and whitetail contest we had last year lol... not the "let's post 5000 times to win a scope contest"

I can't beleive how many

I can't beleive how many people were on this site during those "point" contests and some were even griping about how the points were given out. A good share of the posts were just garbage and it turned me off to the point where I quit visiting the site on a daily or more frequent basis.

I seem to recall that you were one of the gripers.

I agree

The posts during the contests were crap except for mine. I think I can honestly say I was the only poster to win with a 100% quality post rating.

Of course I am full of it   Most of my posts but not all were designed to generate points to win the contest ni like others had to dredge out ancient posts to respond to just tongetnthe volume needed to win.
