This deer I found in
This deer I found in Illinoise on the side of the road dead, but it was a very cool looking buck, it has a split main beam on it's left side, THIS DEER WAS HUGE!

This deer I shot 4 years ago.
This deer I shot 4 years ago. My friend and I tracked this deer for about 12 hours with very little blood trail we were just getting blood drops here and there so after we ran out of blood trail we figured I must not have got a very good shot on it. 1 month later we were pushing some ravines during shotgun seson 2 and found the buck laying under a huge dead tree about 100 yards from the stand i shot it from. This deer had just made one big circle around the land I hunt and layed back behind my stand about 100 yards out.

This deer here is my pride
This deer here is my pride and joy. First buck I ever shot with a bow. Not much of a story to it. I was just sitting in my stand late November cold, wet, and snowy and this buck came walking right down the fence line, stopped right in front of me for whatever reason broadsided and I drew, he looked and I released. He ran about 20 yards and fell dead.
I was the happiest hunter in the woods that day. I hope there was no one else hunting close to me that day because they were probably really pissed with all the hooting and hollering I was doing.

Some very impressive
Some very impressive animals!!
I have been looking at Illinois and Iowa for a possible hunt in the next 2 years with my Dad. Tough finding an outfitter over the internet though, cause you don't know which ones are scams, or might have 50 hunters in camp, etc.

Yes, those are very nice
Yes, those are very nice bucks. Is that a drop tine I see on your first bow buck? Can you get some bigger pictures of those on here?

Ya I can get some better pictures but no drop tine. Have to wait till my wife gets home her pictures on her phone come out bigger than mine for some reason so when she gets home I will post them.

Great buck! I had heard that
Great buck! I had heard that public land was hard to come by in Texas. Glad you were able to find some and score a very nice deer!
