It wasn't too bad pulling him out. He died right at the foot of a logging road and we pulled him out with a 4 - wheeler, biggest problem was that he dwarfed the deer sled and we had to be careful that his antlers did drag on the ground or get snagged.
Illinios doesnt allow rifles if I'm not mistaken. If my memory serves me right it's just shotgun, muzzleloader, and bow right?

One of the most important components of deciphering a new hunting area is distinguishing between the summer and winter ranges for the game that you plan to pursue.
