A picture Of a mamma black bear during the drought

When I took a picture of this bear, she was with her cub. I could of shot her all day, as she was like less than 10 feet away from me in a pear tree during the summer drought. I took pictures of her and her cub. This mama bear hissed at me sometimes as I was taking pictures of her. Here in the state New Mexico, bears usually run away from hunters during the bear hunt. But there is a true story of a bear breaking into an 90 year old lady's house in Mora NM, just a few years ago. The bear broke into the lady's house and killed her and started eating her flesh. The local residents quickly tracked down the bear and killed it.

Other than that, the bears run far away from hunters during bear season.

we are starting to see more bears in the suburbs now to. There was a bear in White Bear Lake Mn about a month ago . White bear Lk has a pop of 50,000 and is 25 mi N of St. Paul

Most of the time they are loking for food, and the first thing that turns green happens to be where the people are. And they don't seem to bother people or pets. Its the the eagles and coyotes that are doing damage . My brothers wifes dad is a pig farmer in southern Minnesota they have eagles picking off piglets
all the time .
