Actually it started out alright. I loaded up some rounds for my 6.5x06 using RL-19 powder last night then made some new targets for load testing. Messed up twice on the targets and had to start over. Finally got it done and made a second to have printed up. Then loaded up and out to my range. WOW, not a really bad load except the last one.
Back to the house and loaded up ten more, 1/2gr under max, that gave me a group right at 1/2". Get the cronograph and back out. Set everything up, set out a target, fire the first shot across the screens and it doesn't work?? Tried several more after fooling with it some, everything seemed fine but no go. Oh well, fired off the rest at 200 yds and went after the target. What trash!!!! about a 3" group.
Well back to the house and put everything away. Clean the rifle and check the clearence just because. HUH! A piece of printer paper won't clear much less the business card I set it with. Turned it over and checked the action screws. The rear tang was real loose and the reciever screw took two easy turns to tighten! DUH!!!! Well everythings ready now to start all over tomorrow except the cronograph don't work. Hoping there was just to much sun today.
