Pennsylvania youth conservation school looking for students

The Northampton County Junior Conservation School is looking for conservation minded youths ages 14 thru 17 to attend this summers camp.
This camp is a lot of fun to attend and a great place to learn about everything related to conservation.
I attended this camp myself in 1985 and I had a great time there. I also learned a lot and still use the information that I gained today. My daughter attended this camp last summer and she liked it so much that she is returning this year as a counselor!
Some of the things you will learn about include:
Forestry/Forest Ecology • Hiking/Camping/Backpacking
• Watershed Protection/Management • Air Quality
• Agricultural Issues • Political/Community Activism
• Canoeing and Water Safety • Land Use
• Shooting Sports/Safe Gun Handling
and much more.
I have to tell you that even though you will spend a week learning about all of these things and more you will have the time of your life here. It's a lot of fun!
The highlight of the trip for me was the 2 day canoe trip on the Delaware river. We learned about the watershed and spent the night camping along the shore.
Do yourselves a favor and check it out.
If you type the initials ncjcs into yahoo you will find their website. If you contact me via PM I will put you in contact with the folks that are running the program.
I'll try to post the link,
