peanut butter mollasses or vanilla

thinking about using peanut butter mollasses or vanilla along with some apples for bait question is will this attract bears bait will be out for about 2 weeks before i can hunt whats the opinions on using this stuff im trying to give my dad as much of an edge as possible hes not very mobile so anything to help him

I suggest using ear corn. It takes them a bit longer to eat corn on the cob than shell corn. They'll stick around longer at the food source that way.

Well, I tried molasses the last season I hunted in NS. I poured a cup or so over one of my apple piles and speared the container holding the rest on a sapling about 4ft up in the air to slowly drip out.

The results weren't exactly spectacular. In fact nothing touched the apple pile until a couple weeks later after a heavy rain (which I think washed away the molassess.)

Take that for what it's worth.
