Great story!!! That's a bummer your girlfriend got a ticket but you guys did the right thing by calling and getting an officer out there. It was very nice that the elk was donated to your dad and your girlfriend was still able to hunt. Your right not a great way to start the hunt but it sounds like everything worked out inthe end. Congrats on harvesting the elk. and kudos to you for getting your girlfriend and son out hunting. sounds like you guys had a great time and will be memorise that will last a lifetime.
