Pack size?

I am interested in doing a backcountry hunt off my back and looking for a pack. I don't think I could go wrong with badlands as I do have some experience with them. The construction and comfort seems to be unmatched. The only thing I don't know about is what size to get. I would pry be doing a four or maybe a five day hunts. Anyway, my question is, would the 4500 be too much for me or could I make the 2800 work? Any other packs? What size range would I need?

I have the hypervent and that usually gets me through the weekend but for a week I use my 4500 I personally dont see how you can go wrong with badlands. the lifetime warranty pretty much covers everything.

It would be used for bowhunting in September for elk and hopefully someday those high country mulies.

To make my question a littler simpler, If I went with badlands, would I have to get a 4500 if i planned on doing anything over two or so days?

Thanks for the help so far.

I usually am maxed out in my hyper vent for 3 days anymore than that and i would have to leave stuff behind, but with the 4500 you can leave your big pack at where every you camp and seperate the smaller pack to use during the day.

How well does the smaller pack work? Its just a fanny pack, isn't it?
