Outdoor Life Article: Ultimate Zombie Guns

First of all... here's the link: http://www.outdoorlife.com/photos/gallery/survival/2010/03/surviving-undead-zombie-guns

What are your guys thoughts. I love the Lauer Custom Weaponry AR-15 on the second page. It just might be the ultimate zombie rig around. The thing has an arrow gun attached for Pete's sake. Although a handy tactical shotgun with a high capacity might be hard to beat in the knockdown power category. Lugging around a ton of shotgun shells would limit your maneuverability however.

simple

My opinion is pretty simple. That kind of trash does not belong in the Outdoor Life magazine I grew up admiring. I reckon I said enough about that!  Whistling

Why so serious?

Why so serious?  It's just a spoof.

AR-15...without the ridiculous arrow gun that serves no purpose beyond giving you something to fiddle with while the dead gnaw on your jugular.  We've had the answer since 1968...remove the head or destroy the brain.  Accuracy and volume of fire rule the day.  Muzzle-flip and lengthy reloads get people killed.

just my thoughts

Sorry, but I'm still of the idea (ideal?) that Outdoor Life was a magazine about hunting and fishing, outdoor sports. Not a rag to talk about killing Zombies, simply a veiled way of discussing blowing away fellow humans after all. Come on now. Spoof or no spoof, it does not belong in a sport hunting magazine.

Wanna read that crap, but SOF (Soldier of Fortune) and have at it!

Of course, simply my own silly opinion.   Yes

I agree that the intellectual

I agree that the intellectual content of just about any magazine has gone down.  But the same thing could be said for the news or just about anything else on TV.  There's more bucks to be made in entertainment than enlightenment.

I cannot argue that

How can any man argue those facts! Such is our world today.  Yes Yes
