Howdy everyone. I just found this site and have been enjoying all of the useful info on here. Being an avid hunter for most of my life, I hhave found that hunters are to best people on earth and are alwys happy to help out a fellow hunter. Here's the deal.
I moved to Carlsbad in 1998, having spent the majority of my formative years inTexas. Like many of you, I have applied to hunt Oryx, unsuccessfully, for many years. So, I've never hunted the danged things. Know absolutely nothing about the animal other than general stuff that can be picked up on sites like this and books on hunting Africa.
My son, who will be 15 in June, just drew out for a once in a lifetime on the small missile range slated for September. Is scouting allowed on the range? Has anyone hunted the small missile range and can give me any pointers/heads up info? All help is greatly appreciated. I really want to provide him a nice hunt.
