Ramsay continues spinning his rhetoric to duck so many issues relating to the spring hunt. Expanding the fall hunt does absolutely nothing to offer more bear hunting opportunities to compensate for the loss of the spring hunt. Locals seldom hunt bears beyond the opening of the small game season in September and most bears taken in October are simply taken during moose season if the opportunity presents itself--which it seldom does.
I totally agree saw couldnt have said it better maybe this year will change his mind and put it on the list of things to get done. I think they should have reinstated it last season but I guess it didnt make the list of most important things on his list I think itll take more sightings and attacks for them to realize something is wrong.
One of the things I struggle with when afield is keeping my rifle clean and in good working order. Small amounts of dust and dirt collect moisture; moisture can freeze rendering your action immovable when you need it most. I have seen this happen on multiple occasions, and over time, I’ve learned the cause and how to prevent this from happening.
The first thing that you need to avoid before going afield is leaving excess oil on the gun. Oil will trap dirt and sand in all the wrong places....
