One more tag to fill!!

Headed to eastern Colorado to try and fill a late season doe tag this weekend.  Hope the cold has not messed with them too much.  Hunting a farm that has a seriuos wintering problem with antelope eating his winter wheat.  A friend and I are hoping to help his problem a few does at a time!

Good luck to you Goose!  Just

Good luck to you Goose!  Just curious, are the lope doe tags in Colorado done in the lottery or over the counter?  If they are lottery, are the draw odds pretty decent?

Good luck goose! Are those

Good luck goose! Are those the tags that the division advertised that were still left over? That looked like a good set up. They needed a lot of people to head out east to take care of some herds that hit some of those land owners really hard. They even gave out contact information for the local district wildife manager so that he could put you in contact with any of the land owners that need help. It looked like a cool opportunity.

Did you know this particular land owner or did you contact someone in the division of wildlife to get permission to hunt it?

Oh and Vermonster... our pronghorn tags are through the draw but there are doe tags that make it through to be sold as leftovers. Some public tags make it through but a ton are private land only tags. But if you just want to hunt does, put in for the draw and you will get one. Buck tags can be a lot harder to come to by though.

no this tag was not a

no this tag was not a leftover I drew for it.

Well I managed to take a goat on saturday..and I made a real good lucky shot at what we estimate at about 400-450 yards.  But I have only one crappy cell phone pic of it laying in the back of the truck.....the camera decided to crap out on me in the field.  I was so pissed at the camera...I smashed it...I always like to take alot of pics of my harvest whethere it be a buck, bull or doe and it just pissed me off so bad I may have overreacted a bit...oh well now on new camera.  So I did real well on the antelop population between CO and WY.  Wish I just had connected on a bull or a buck this year!
