Welcome to the forum

Alesix, cannot help you with the area but I do want to welcome you to the forum. I am sure the folks in the area will be more than happy to help you out. You might even get someone who will take you out if you are lucky. Never to old to start hunting and glad you are getting out. Good lucky on bagging Thanksgiving dinner and welcome to the site.

Hey Alesix, welcome!  I just

Hey Alesix, welcome!  I just answered your other thread. I see in this on one you at least narrowed it down as to your location.  So, by the Inland Empire, I take it you are in the San Bernardino area, give or take?

Okay, that narrows it down.

Okay, that narrows it down.  I personally have not hunted up that way, but I do know that there is good quail in the hills there, plus bear if you ever want to venture into big game.  Not sure ont he turkey for thanksgiving though.  Let me ask around on some of the other local sites I am on, and see if I can get any more info for you.

ontario cal hunting

thanks. i don't have a problem going to the brawley area on the weekend to hunt, i just would not know where is good, legal place to do it, or how to spot them, being my first time. i know turkey is going to be more of a challenge to locate and that is ok. i would just like to get some know how the first time or two. my son was going to take me, but he himself has only gone once, so is also a newbie and now very knowledgable about the sport.

I can't help either with

I can't help either with hunting location I just wanted to say welcome to the site. I see you already found CA_Vermonster. He will lead in you the right direction. There are also a few others from California who can probably help you out some. This site is full of great knowledgable folks who I'm sure can help. Make sure to stick around and share some photo's and stories. Also report back after the hunt to let us know how you do.

Howdy

Welcome!

Prowl around and you will find some stories that may contain a nugget or three of information.

I found myself wanting to go deer hunting and that led to hunting other animals too, even small game. I'm not in CA, so I can't help much as far as location but I just wanted to say welcome. Good luck and I look forward to reading about your adventures as you learn this thing called hunting.
