The Old Man of The Woods

After hunting hard all seaon long with only 1 week left in my time to hunt I was able to take this old boy Fri the 21st. Amazingly he was still chasing does. I took him on some new property we just bought. The deer was about 6 or 7 years old and was really beat up his left ear was torn about 3 inches and had about 15 different scars on his body.He was old and past his prime, you can't see it to well in the pics but not only his face but his neck was also starting to grey out. I'm not sure what I'll do with him, right now he's at the taxidermists. I'm thinking shoulder mount it just seems right to show him like that since he was around for so long.

Nice one for sure, I'd give this old vet full "honors" he deserves it to survive for so long and still takin care of business.I'd give em a full shoulder for sure.It wouldn't cost that much more anyways.If you lived up here in NS and I knew ya
