Okies or Yankees? Read at your own risk!

I once raised chickens, but didn't use them for fighting.

Nevertheless, you stated that I have no right to judge if I haven't raised game fowl. That's like saying I'm not qualified to debate drugs unless I've done them, or can't debate prostitution unless I grew up in a cathouse.

Yeah -- not only did Risner evade capture and get rescued once, when he got back to base he got back in the cockpit and took the fight back to the enemy until he got shot down a second time. And ejection seats back then weren't as humane as they are now.

Man Expatriate I'm glad to meet your acquaintance. You are a plethora of information. Could be you can help this old country boy over come his illiteracy and add some weapons to my arsenal. FBI if you are reading this I'm talking about knowledge as my weapon to carry on my battle with the animal rights groups. Thanks again Pard

I'm sorry I can't debate either of those subjects because I don't partake of them either. But I know people that drugs have ruined their life and so has prostitution, because they were drug using prostitutes. But I have never met a man or a woman that cock fighting has been the ruination of their lives. Since you are a smarter man than me maybe you know some and can give me some examples. Thanks again New Pard

Can't say that I can oblige you, there. I was simply making the point that experience isn't the only credential needed for debate. If it was, we'd have to discount all those people out there with no experience in hunting that support hunters nevertheless.

As far as my "official" position on cockfighting, I don't agree with it. However, there's a lot of things I don't agree with and I don't demand that they be legislated out of existence.

By the way, Buck, I was mistaken when I said the 67th was the "Gamecocks." They're officially the "Fighting Cocks." I knew them as such, but erroneously thought it was a nickname in lieu of "Gamecocks."

Got a chance to fly back seat with them once a couple years ago -- what a rush.

As they say, you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar, right? Nobody's out to slam anyone on their views here. Friendly debate always gets more interest than hostility.

Who was that masked man that said that about the honey. You know that is what made pro wrestling Or wrassling (Bubba term) so popular some people just love to see someone get their azz kicked. You notice I said some one azz not theirs. Its the nature of the beast (man) anyways you get my drift. DON'T YOU! Just joking with the caps and exclamation punctuation.
