I got two!

Heres a couple I killed on first day of our hunt. Killed first one in unit 29 on private land first 15 minutes. I Purchased a leftover tag for unit 24 and killed the second one a couple hours latter. I am blessed. Big smile

Speed Goat reply

I would like to start with great goats, love to see what everyone is up to. Congrats on all the succesful hunts. My youngest son(age 8 great scout) and I showed up to our spot in WY after dark, so we did not get to scout. When the sun rose on our hunting prarie, we could see that it had all burned, with just a few patches of life left. We only had three days and no other place to really go. We did get our first doe right away but then went without seeing any goats for aver a day. On our last day we spotted a good buck in a 50 yrd patch of green about two miles off. A couple of hours later we got him!!! Got our last doe on the way back to the truck to top it off. What a great tropper my son was and what a great--well earned hunt.

I do love to hunt the goats, and when cared for properly they taste great. I went out for a cool one in Colorado, thanks to my buddy I hooked up with this guy at 475 yrds-Heart shot 7mm mag 120 gr - 14.75 inches long, not huge but cool....

Great animals guys.

Here is my buck from Wyoming this year.  It was my first time antelope hunting, and I was very pleased to get this guy on the first day!
