Ohio Buck Down!!!!!

I got this buck Monday evening October 10th with my crossbow. He totally took me by surprise. I put the tape on him and I got him at 144 1/8". Here are a couple pictures and I will be posting the story with more pictures later.

Sweet buck MOTF!!!! I would

Sweet buck MOTF!!!! I would be very good with a buck like that. Looks like a nice mature whitetail. Was this guy on your hit list or was not previous seen?I'm looking forward to reading the story behind him. I don't have any hunting going on till NOV 19th. Right now it's rifle season untill the first week of NOV. I've been out scouting a couple times. I might go out on friday to chase a bear I've had my eye on but who knows. Congats on the fine deer.

Now that's a stud right

Now that's a stud right there!  A big congrats to you MOTF!!!!

Man, he's got length, width, and a 10 pointer.  The only thing he seems to be a teeny bit shy one (not complaining at all) is mass.  144 inches is pretty impressive, I can't imagine what his score would have been with a few extra inches of mass carried throughout his rack.

Just awesome!  I know you were waiting for this day.  And just curious, is this guy on any of you trail cam photos you were posting earlier this summer?  I know you said some of them were on property you couldn't hunt, but not sure about all of them.

I was as shocked to see this

I was as shocked to see this buck as anyone. I have no pictures of him and it was the first time I seen him. It was also the first time I decided to sit in that stand. He is a 6x5 with a kicker off the backside of his right brow tine giving him 12 points. You can look at he he scores on the archery contest score card page.

Ah, I see it now.  Thought he was a mainframe 10.  Didn't see that 6th one on the right side, not sure how I missed it.  Very nice!  I'll check out the score sheet.

Very very nice.  I would

Very very nice.  I would be happy with something that size by the end of the season.  Not sure we have anything that large, but you never know.  Must have felt great getting it with your crossbow.  Again congrats!!! Now go get another one!!
