I think both of them are like

I think both of them are like a big truck with no brakes going down a mountain - they are runaways!!!!

I am on the Blackberry pedaling as hard as I can but this two thumb typing is brutal!

I will have little pc use in November (not that I am complaing - heck... I am hunting!) But is is not making it easy!

Gotta keep pushing however - as on the month goes

Maybe I can get a few stories submmitted late in the month over the Thanksgiving holiday

It is harder than I imagined

It is harder than I imagined to stay competetive in this contest.  I need to kill a buck soon so I can write a story about it.  My wife is not the happiest with me these days.  Thinks I am spending too much time on the computer.

I don't know how you do it with the blackberry.  I did it from the stand and it was a pain.

CVC, I have to agree with her. You need to take a break from this contest and spend twenty straight days in the stand. lol

Good luck to you.

I got in big time trouble

I got in big time trouble with my bride in the days leading up to the end of the October contest - so much so that I had to cut it out altogether at home for a few days...

We are at my in laws for the upcoming Thanksgiving holidays - I am already thinking of "excuses" why I need to be on the pc while we are visiting!!

Sick, I know - but this what we have become!!!!

Best of luck to all!

Jim that is too funny and not

Jim that is too funny and not sick at all.  I will be at the inlaws over the holidays and I'm thinking the same way as you did.  Wives just don't understand.

CVC I hear ya brother - we

CVC

I hear ya brother - we will be at the in laws at the same time for Turkey day - and my wife is as good as they get - but competitions like this give us old guys (I will be 54 in January) a chance to compete again!!!

I think I read that you are 50 plus - or soon will be - so you may know what I mean!!

Jim, you're just slightly

Jim, you're just slightly older than me.  I just turned 53.  Competition is good for the soul but my wife doesn't understand competition and the drive to win.  Maybe she is a socialist?  I better check :)  Part of the reason I did the goat hunt was it was a compeition - me against the mountain so I hear you loud and clear.

Neither do girlfriends. But

Neither do girlfriends. But she knows how much I love to hunt, especially on Thanksgiving. It's been a tradition for years, started when uncle would take me when I was 14 years old. I have missed a few Turkey day hunts but sometimes it can't be helped.
If it wasn't getting cold by then, she would go with me. She can't deal with the cold and the wind.
I may have to hunt were I have good cell service. Hahaha

Yeah, girlfriends are just

Yeah, girlfriends are just wives in training and after a certain point there is no difference.  I just realized that my posts are sandwiched in between a couple of winners so I am in good company here, but I want membership into the first place club.

I had a girlfriend that was congratulating me for taking second.  She couldn't understand my disappointed, after all I won second.  She didn't understand that no, I didn't win second I lost first and getting a trophy for second doesn't make losing any easier.

I have an understanding

I have an understanding girlfriend. She just doesn't comprehend what it takes to win 1st place in this competition. You have to constantly been pecking the keyboard. But she liked the fact that won a new scope and didn't spend any money, just time.
Thanks for the complement and as you can see I won't be catching up to you this month. I just want to place higher than I am currently.
Good luck to you, CVC. I hope you win the rifle. Thumbs up
