Obama -- Ready to RULE

Check this Freudian slip out -- the co-chair of Obama's transition team saying he'll be ready to "take power and begin to rule Day 1." Not "serve", not "lead"...rule.

Obama -- Ready to RULE

The Obama will rule his people one day, but first he must silence opposition. And to silence opposition, he must disarm the masses.

Wow, you are terrified? You conjure up an image in my mind of you sitting at home shaking with the blinds drawn. How'd you do during the Clinton years that you were so scared?

Clinton was a sleazy used car salesman, not a narcissistic leftist with a cult following him. I never heard people calling for a national holiday when Clinton was elected, or claiming the world was going to benefit from his magnificence.

You seem like a frightened, hostile, and bitter man, expat. Glad I'm not you.

And you SoCokhunter seem to be blissfully ignorant of the prison rape about to take place on your gun rights. Did it occur to you there's a reason otherwise happy go lucky people are scared of what this man will do to the constitution? Just continue to bury your head in the sand and be happy. Thinking, intelligent people will worry.

I'm glad you're not me, SoCo. If you were, my family would be destitute and my kids wouldn't be able to think for themselves.

Once again, though, you're dodging the issue -- the statement from The Obama's people that he intends to take power and RULE. A lot of people would take issue with that, because it sounds like authoritarianism.

I realize this is dangerous territory for you -- if you defend the comment, you have to align yourself with something that sounds like a statement from an emperor. But if you don't defend it, you might be accused of impurity.

So I suspect that rather than engage on this issue, you'll continue to dodge around it like a good little lemming.

Dodging the issue! Ha, you never fail to make me chuckle Major Burns. If you offered something outside of the realm of the supremely ridiculous you might get a serious response. Oh, and since you keep bringing up the authoritarian mindset, that is more in line with conservatives like you. If you care to educate yourself on it here's a link:

"In Conservatives Without Conscience, John Dean places the conservative movement’s inner circle of leaders in the Republican Party under scrutiny. Dean finds their policies and mind- set to be fundamentally authoritarian, and as such, a danger to democracy. By examining the legacies of such old-line conservatives as J. Edgar Hoover, Spiro Agnew, and Phyllis Schlafly and of such current figures as Dick Cheney, Newt Gingrich, and leaders of the Religious Right, Dean presents an alarming record of abuses of power. His trenchant analysis of how conservatism has lost its bearings serves as a chilling warning and a stirring inspiration to safeguard constitutional principles."

As I suspected, you've again illustrated your inability to respond with anything but personal attacks and dodges.

If you're in sales as your bio suggests, you must not be any good at it. When your customers ask you questions about your product, do you belittle them and evade their questions, too?
