Nubie here, looking for a bear outfitter

I am new to bear hunting. Never been actually. I am wanting to find an outfitter that will set me up on a bow hunt over bait. Location is some what optional. I prefer to stay in the Minnesota, southern Manitoba and Ontario or Tennessee, the Carolinas, Kentucky and the Virginias areas.

I am not looking for some upscale Excutive type luxurious camp. Somewhere where there are lots of bears, a hot shower is best but not absolutly necassary.

New Brunswick, Quebec and Maine could be added to that list. All 3 have very healthy populations and all are capable of producing big bears in the 400-600lb range.

"Tennessee, the Carolinas, Kentucky and the Virginias"

These states don't allow bait hunts. You can dog them here though.....

black bear outfitter

Hey guys and galls if you ever wanted to hunt a trophy black bear now it the time. I am a serous trophy bear outfitter in northern Alberta Canada. My success rate is 170% my P&Y rate is 65%. We can hunt bears and wolves over bait and I recommend you bring your bow. We only take a limited # of hunters each year. This keeps our trophy quality high. Normally by now I am booked up solid but recently a few spots came available.

If you are interested in a serous trophy bear hunt let me know. If you are good with a 200lbd bear there are cheaper place to hunt. If you want a chance at the trophy of a life time give me a call. Prices are holding for now but we suspect they are going up for 2009 and defiantly 2010.

go ahead and check my site out just serch Boss outfitting you will find it.

Those are some wonderful bears you got there man . What is the average of the weights of the bears you harvest and how many do you harvest in the run of a year??? $3600.00US is a lot of money and I am sure it is worth it all 100% but Guiding in our home town is not our main source of money it is our passion and we cannot gaurentee 100% harvest but we do gaurentee 100% satisfaction !! Have a great season .

I am not sure of the weight of those bears, we only weigh the super fat ones, but I guess the pictures speak for themselves. If you look on my website you will see one we weighed and the weight is written there. We try to keep from taking more than 30 each year so we don’t loose our trophy quality. Yep it is a few buck$ but like I said it is a serous trophy hunt. We are remote and the expenses for me are high. I will spend 4000+ on bait and 7000+ on fuel never mind the tags (included in hunt) guides cooks atv’s etc. I also do it because I love it… and let me tell ya when you get an 8’ bear on the table it is worth all the stress and high bold pressure.

Give us a call, if we can't help you out we work with several other outfitters in Idaho where we can hunt with hounds and bait.

Why are all the guys in these photos staying so far back behind the bears? Dead bears can't hurt you!
