 I was just wondering if it is at all possible to receive feedback from our stories/tips.  I was just curious as to why some of my stories received more/less points than others.  I assume that there is a point’s scale used and just wondering if it was possible for that information to be shared with the person that submits the story/tip.  Could be in a PM. 

I am always looking for ways to improve on my writing skills and believe that the feedback would help.

Good luck to everybody. I agree... there are some amazing prizes. This is defenitely the grand finale. There isn't going to really be any strategy on my part. I want that rifle and so I am going to be giving it all I've got. Atleast I'm a student and can devote a lot of time to it since I don't have to take care of a family haha. The .270 wsm is a captivating round and that rifle would make the perfect sheep rig. That is what I would turn it into if I can win it. Some great prizes this month, but as the same with October I will find myself in the field compared to sitting at home on the computer.  Our goose season opens here in CO on the 13th and I am gonna try and break my record of geese taken this year so i will be giving it my all.  Good luck to all and thanks again to tyhe BGH staff for the great giveaway!

Darn, you noticed.  I was hoping to fly under the radar.  Please keep in mind I had to give up my moderator position to participate and that was quite the lucrative gig.  Look at the great prizes they have been giving away so you can only imagine all the perks that go along with being a moderator, but hey, I wanted to try and earn my keep for a change.

Sure the posting is high now, but it really isn't much compared to what it was like when we had a very liberal troll that only posted in the political section.  Some days the number of posts would melt the servers and raise member's temps too.  It was quite nasty at times....right around the time the 2008 elections were heating up and fear of Obama's agenda was high.

Seriously, the posts were high then, but the quaility of the posts are much better now and focused on hunting and not just politics.
