Hey there,

I have had good luck with my electronic call. I can not remember the exact name of it right now. It has a wireless remote that can activate the call up to 50 yrds away. I call them in and use a spot light to see them. (I do it at night)

They are kinda sketchy around this area ( Olympic Peninsula) but it is great target practice and just fun you be out in the woods with some buddys

ok thanks for the tip, i do have an electronic call its the phantom preditor but not the wireless...what kind of area do you look for to set up in?

I've always had good luck settin' up witht he wind crossing to my sides. a dog is almost always gonna try to get down wind of you. If your in the hills setup on top just below the skyline. this will also help with your call to cover more area and plus you have the advantage because your above them. but limit your time in each spot to about 20 mins then move to a new spot if their not at that one you may catch them coming from far away at the next.
