Northwest Colorado Fall Photos

My daily walks are along the Yampa River. The color of the cottonwoods and brush had been particularly stunning this year, and by chance I actually remembered my camera! Big smile

Sadly the colors didn't last long. We've had wind and rain, so most are gone.

Hey those are some great pics! I should have taken more pics when I went up and did a little scouting a couple weeks back. Here is one of a young bull we happen to come across.

Yummm ... he has `that look' - where the next thing he does is LEAVE. Elk are fabulous animals.
