Hello all. First time elk hunter here. Headed to Northern Utah for general season with any buck/ any bull combo tag. Will be staying in Eden and planning to hunt public lands in Morgan South Rich unit, and maybe surrounding units. Also have been trying to get info on elk in Kamas unit.

If anyone has any advice regarding Elk/ mulies in this neck of the woods I would appreciate it. Ex - any specific elevations to target, how physically demanding is the hunting in these areas, rut info around Oct 1 - through general rifle season. Hope these are not too broad of questions.

Anything will be greatly appreciated. Just trying to introduce myself to the forum and drum up some conversation.
