North Dakota Deer/ Elk Hunting

Hello all,

I am planning on putting in for tags for deer/ elk next year in ND. I just had a couple of questions, if any one could clear up somethings. First, when you put in for draw tags do you pay for the tag then or do you pay when (if) you get one? And second, I thought that I read in the regs that there is no draw for archery, if that is correct, can you harvest two deer, one rifle one bow, in the same year? Thanks for any help.

Re: North Dakota Deer/ Elk Hunting

If from out of state you will not be eligible to hunt for ND Elk.

For deer you can purhase whitetail deer tags over the counter, mule deer are a lottery as tag are limited to 10% of the total tags available. In ND, if a resident, you can get an archery, gun and muzzelloader buck tag if lucky enough to be drawn. Nr could get an achery and a gun if drawn.

Where are you from?
