North Carolina pro gun bills put forward

North Carolina is now proposing a couple of pro gun buills to allow carry in parks, and church, etc.

It seems like a good idea to me.  There are more details in this article if you want them:

This is good thing but it

This is good thing but it always amazes me the number of states that issue a permit fairly easily and then have such a huge list of places you are not allowed to carry it.

The most interesting bill being introduced there to me is the one mentioned to make any firearm, accessory, or ammunition manufactured in the state and kept in that state to be exempt from any federal regulation. I have heard of this being tried before in a couple other states but not sure if any became law or not.

I’d like to see it go nationwide!

Hunter25 – I think that one is on the books in Montana and Tennessee and the Feds have not challenged it yet.  I’d like to see it go nationwide!

Those are the states I was

Those are the states I was thinking of but wasn't sure if it had gone through. I think the challenges will come when they start to sell things that would be a violation of federal law.

It will be very interesting when it happens as I'm sure they had something in mind when they put this in place.
